At CBC we value the importance of proper attire and presentation for the benefit and growth of our students. A clean and neat appearance is vitally important for proper dance instruction. Proper appearance sets an attitude of attentiveness and respect for students, teachers, and the art of dance. We ask that you please carefully review the dress-code and requirements below before attending classes. Fail to adhere to these requirements may result in your child being asked to sit during classes until dress-code requirements have been met. Please respect these presentation requirements, it is one of the beautiful aspects that sets our art apart from other activities.
Ballet Bun
Proper hair etiquette is essential for all dancers! It is mandatory for all students to have hair in a neat, tidy, ballet bun. Hair must be properly secured and tied up off of the face and neck for all styles of dance. We strongly encourage the use of hairspray and hair-nets. We know that learning to make a ballet bun can be daunting, so we have included a ballet bun tutorial link below:
Primary Program students will wear the class leotard, no tights, and white ankle socks with pink ballet shoes. You may purchase pink canvas ballet shoes from any Dance store or Online.
